We ordered the bistro set online and requested delivery to the Cannock Chase store on 28th June. When my husband went to collect he found the two chairs were stacked and secured together loosely with cable ties and torn brown paper around the chair backs. This meant that there were friction scratches all over the black frames and some wood chafed away on one arm. Luckily, due to the competence of the store staff and the pragmatism of its manager, we negotiated a discount so that we could bring the furniture home and arrange to have the frames resprayed. Thank you to them for going above and beyond for what was a mail order item and was nothing to do with the store. The table is box-packed so no problems, but JYSK, I'm aware that wasteful packaging is to be frowned upon but so is uneccessary damage! And about the furniture? I give it 5 stars! It is fantastic: so sturdy, comfortable and stylish with its classic Scandi good looks and comfort - the high backs ideal for someone with back problems. I would love to have the four-seater set or even the six-seater in my garden! Buy it, and hope for better packaging.
